"Herbie" robot in the Körber portfolio

Carrybots, a specialist in mobile robotics, is a new partner in the Körber supply chain ecosystem. The aim of this collaboration is to strengthen the position of both companies in intralogistics. Herbie" enables robot-based goods-to-person processes.

Körber, a provider of AGV/AMR-based goods-to-person solutions, is adding Carrybots' modular transport robots to its portfolio with immediate effect. The mobile "Herbie" robots make the conveyor technology between the picking stations and the storage areas much more flexible. The "Herbies" enable the transportation of small load carriers and pallets.

Körber and Carrybots are working on using the mobile robots to implement fully integrated and individual solutions for various requirements. The Körber Business Area Supply Chain brings together the expertise of innovative partners in a dynamically growing ecosystem that offers individual end-to-end solutions for the supply chain. These solutions are seamlessly integrated into the value chains of Körber customers. Together with the provider Carrybots, which is backed by industry heavyweights such as Schubert, Flexlog and Gebhardt, Körber is further expanding its position as an integrator of mobile robot systems.
