Shusuke Aoki becomes CEO and Managing Director

Panasonic has appointed Shusuke Aoki as CEO and Managing Director of Panasonic Connect Europe (PCOEU), based in Wiesbaden, Germany.

The former CTO, who has lived and worked in Europe for the past 14 years, will lead the company and support European business customers in overcoming the current socio-economic challenges with the latest technological innovations. Aoki has broad B2B and B2G experience. He led successful teams in customer-centric solutions sales, systems engineering, marketing and transformation in Japan, the United States and Europe before taking on the new role. He succeeds Hiroyuki Nishiuma, who successfully led the company through the pandemic.

Focused on business-to-business and the public sector, the organization supports customers with a range of innovative products and integrated systems and services. In the area of manufacturing, the company helps automate factories from component receipt to production and distribution. In the supply chain, Panasonic Connect Europe combines AI solutions from subsidiary BlueYonder with edge network technologies such as sensors and robotics to reinvent the way customers deliver goods. The company's tablets, notebooks and wrap-around solutions support the productivity of mobile workers.
