The Pepperl+Fuchs brand ecom is launching the Ex-Handy 10, a Zone 1 and Div. 1-certified 4G/LTE featurephone suitable for pure communication via push-to-talk (PTT) through to lone worker protection and Industry 4.0 applications. The device enables the use of push-to-talk over 4G, private LTE and Wi-Fi networks. PTT and lone worker protection functions can be called up via dedicated, easy-to-use side buttons with one-touch access. Speakers on the front of the handset ensure voice and sound quality - even in noisy environments. Fixed cabling that can be used in hazardous areas makes it possible to use radio speaker microphones (RSM) or headsets. In addition, the high-resolution display of the mobile device is protected by a durable and scratch-resistant Gorilla glass. The device complies with protection class IP68 and works in ambient temperatures between -20 and +55 °C. Equipped with the Android 8.1 operating system, patches and security updates are automatically guaranteed.
