The intelligent augmented reality glasses AIRe Lens from Konica Minolta are now also available on the German market. The AR glasses were specially developed to guide employees in industrial companies step by step through work processes in assembly, maintenance or quality assurance. The glasses module weighs 35 g and has a camera integrated into the frame. The transparent display can be controlled with the help of this camera using simple gestures or by pressing a button on the controller box attached to the belt or arm. The head-mounted display, a visual output device, allows the user to view technical information virtually without restricting their freedom of movement. In addition, experts from remote locations can be called in to support users via the integrated camera with the help of the remote assistant.
