With the TFxx38 series, iiyama is launching five successor models to the "TFxx37" ILFD series, which include display sizes of 32, 43, 49, 55 and 65 inches. Compared to the predecessor series, they offer reduced depths, a slimmer design and a Displayport signal input. The ILFDs are open-frame installation devices, i.e. they are supplied with mounting brackets as external brackets instead of a stand, which enable easy installation and seamless integration into counters, furniture or columns. Optional wall brackets are available as an alternative for wall mounting. There is also the option of vertical and horizontal alignment. The entire series works with projective capacitive multi-touch technology (PCAP). The 4 mm thick front glass of the terminal is resistant; it passes the ball drop test, in which a 500 g steel ball is dropped from a height of 1.3 m onto the touchscreen. To reduce reflections from external light sources, the displays are given an anti-glare coating, which also makes the screens less susceptible to dust, grease and dirt particles.
