In order to control gripper modules, valves and sensors reliably and without cable clutter, RSP has developed a new type of rotary feed-through with brushless sliding contacts and smooth-running seals with low loose torque. Media such as air, vacuum, pure filtered water and electrical signals can be transmitted - as well as analog and digital video signals and all common bus signals such as Profi-Bus. According to the supplier, the ability to transmit gigabit signals is unique. The parts made of high-performance plastics and aluminum are said to enable a weight reduction of up to 50 %. All products can be mounted using an ISO flange pattern or an adaptation plate and are available in various sizes.
