What does Motek 2016 have to offer in terms of new products from the fields of material flow, handling technology and industrial handling? Computer&AUTOMATION shows a selection of products from over 900 exhibitors in a series of pictures.
The Hebofix system from Hebotec is a hook and loop tape installation aid that allows cables to be bundled and fixed easily and flexibly - without constricting. The system comprises hook and loop bases (KBS) and endless hook and loop tape and replaces cable ties and other fastening systems such as metal brackets or clamps. The solution has now been enhanced with an additional function: it can be attached to all standard aluminum rails with a 90° turn. According to the manufacturer, this offers further advantages over conventional solutions: The hook and loop tape can be attached to the KBS without tools, is variable in length and can be replaced and reused. Cable, air or hydraulic hose bundles can thus be easily rearranged or extended. With these properties, the system should function reliably even in the event of vibrations - for example on machine cladding, safety fences or assembly frames as well as in moving processes, robotics applications and on sensors that need to be wired. The KBS can now also be mounted in aluminum profile grooves with the matching base foot. In addition, the KBS can either be screwed on directly or attached to a top-hat or C-rail with the appropriate accessories.
