The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas always provides interesting impetus for the industry. This year, companies once again presented numerous innovations - particularly in the areas of connected vehicles and HMI technologies.
Toyota presented its new 'e-Palette' concept study: The all-electric concept vehicle of the same name is designed to autonomously and flexibly meet the most diverse needs of future mobility. The box-shaped electric car offers an open interior concept that can transform the vehicle into a delivery van, a bus for carpooling, a mobile hotel or a supermarket on wheels, depending on requirements. There are three different vehicle lengths from four to seven meters. The study is part of a new business alliance for mobility services involving companies such as Amazon, Pizza Hut and Uber.
