What innovations are there for industrial users on the measurement technology market? Computer&AUTOMATION has summarized a selection of new products in a series of pictures

With the introduction of the three new variants with nominal forces of 3, 14 and 36 kN, HBM is completing the Paceline CLP series of piezoelectric force measuring rings. This expansion means that the sensors are now available to users for all standard industrial screw connections from M2.5 to M14. This means that the force sensors can also be installed in very small constructions without having to redimension or adapt screw or bolt connections. Force measuring rings are available in seven different versions from 3 to 80 kN. Depending on the measuring range, the overall height is just 3 to 5 mm. All CLP sensors are made of stainless materials and are RoHS-compliant. They are also available with cable lengths of either 0.5 m or 1 m, regardless of the respective nominal force. Typical areas of application are production monitoring - for example force monitoring of crimping processes or welding force monitoring - as well as dynamic measurements in testing.
