Endress+Hauser Group
Change in top management
There are changes at the top of the Endress+Hauser Group: Executive Board member Dr. Gerhard Jost is retiring and Dr. Manfred Jagiella is joining the Board of Directors. Michael Ziesemer and Dr. Andreas Mayr are also taking on new positions.
Dr. Gerhard Jost joined the flow measurement specialist Endress+Hauser Flowtec in Reinach, Switzerland, as Managing Director in 2000. From 2009, he was a member of the Executive Board, responsible for production and logistics; since 2014, he has concentrated solely on this activity in the Group's management. Dr. Gerhard Jost retired on 31 December 2015 after 15 years of service.
Michael Ziesemer joined Endress+Hauser in 1981. In 1992, he became Managing Director of the level and pressure measurement technology plant in Maulburg. In 1996, he took over the management of German sales in Weil am Rhein. From 1999, Ziesemer was active in the management of the Group. He has been a member of the Executive Board since 2002. As Chief Operating Officer, he has been Deputy CEO since 2008. He will step down from the Executive Board on May 31, 2016. "We are delighted that Mr. Ziesemer will continue to make his knowledge and experience available to us as a member of the Board of Directors," says Klaus Endress. On 1 June 2016, Michael Ziesemer will replace Dr. Klaus Eisele, who is leaving the Board after 14 years.
Reinforcement from our own ranks
Dr. Manfred Jagiella joined the Executive Board on 1 January 2016. He also remains Managing Director of Endress+Hauser Conducta in Gerlingen, which specializes in liquid analysis.
Dr. Andreas Mayr will also join the Executive Board on June 1, 2016. He will also continue to manage the business of the production center for level and pressure measurement technology in Maulburg.
The personnel changes have enabled Endress+Hauser to bundle tasks on the Executive Board and reallocate responsibilities.
In future, CEO Matthias Altendorf will focus on production, logistics and corporate strategy.
Manfred Jagiella will be responsible for the analysis business and Andreas Mayr for marketing, technology and communication.
In addition, Nikolaus Krüger, a member of the Executive Board since 2008, will take over the management of all of the Group's sales activities.
The areas of responsibility of the other members of the Executive Board, Roland Kienzler (Human Resources), Pieter de Koning (IT), Dr. Luc Schultheiss (Finance and Controlling) and Dr. Heiner Zehntner (Legal), remain unaffected by the changes.
