In the current ERP version 2018 from Abas Software, numerous innovations are designed to simplify production and service processes and support medium-sized companies with efficient planning and transparent decision-making aids. For example, the new Web Client paves the way for mobile working, as users can now access the ERP from any location via a web browser. Container management has been expanded to include the inventory management of stocks in transport and storage containers. According to the manufacturer, the fact that stock levels are mapped at container level with all information reduces picking times and errors and also ensures the traceability of containers and their movements. With the new version, service processing can choose between one-day and multi-day appointments and arrival and departure can be scheduled as an option. If appointments need to be adjusted, the entire appointment structure in the scheduling can be moved simply by drag & drop. Another new feature: In order to analyze large amounts of data quickly and offer all decision-makers in the company self-service business intelligence, abas BI provides so-called OLAP cubes, on the basis of which data is bundled and prepared for specific departments.
