With the Siplus CMS1200 condition monitoring system, Siemens offers a system for monitoring the condition of mechanical plant components. Users benefit from the system's connection to MindSphere, the online data streaming of vibration data to the 'CSM X-Tools' analysis software and the calculation and monitoring of the DKW characteristic value for bearing diagnostics. The creation of operating classes enables more precise diagnostics. The condition monitoring system can be integrated into the 'Simatic S7-1200' plant control system. The system records vibration signals via IEPE vibration acceleration sensors and evaluates them without additional software. The analysis results are then sent to the Simatic CPU. The diagnostics are visualized via a web browser so that they can be easily viewed by system operators. Thanks to the system's interaction with MindSphere, the cloud-based, open operating system for the Internet of Things, large volumes of data, even from globally distributed machine fleets, can be analyzed and made usable.
