Bosch RexrothctrlX Automation ecosystem
The real-time capable, Linux-based operating system ctrlX OS from Bosch Rexroth, which was previously used exclusively on the ctrlX Core controller, is now available as a separate solution for the industrial environment.
The Multifunctional Gate Box MGB2 Modular from Euchner secures safety gates and fences on machines and systems during hazardous machine movements. It has a modular design and can be customized. The gate box consists of a locking module, submodules for operating and display elements, optional extension modules and the bus module for connection to Profinet or Profisafe as well as Ethercat P/FSoE. All information from the connected modules comes together in the MBM bus module and is transferred to the system's control unit. The diagnostic and communication functions in the form of Ethercat or Profinet messages and the integrated web server provide an overview of the status of the device. The controller also transmits its signals to the connected system modules via the bus module, for example to control the guard locking or switch on a light.
