IT Report of the VDMACloud yes - but private!
The VDMA's IT Report 2016 brings surprising results to light: the mechanical and plant engineering industry is focusing on new topics that have previously played a subordinate role - such as machine data acquisition. There are also interesting developments on the subject of the cloud.

... are already in use. A total of 16% of the machine manufacturers surveyed use such solutions. Service and maintenance are leading the way with a share of 10%. They are followed by production (8%), logistics (4%) and marketing (3%). The proportion of applications, which is still comparatively low today, will increase significantly over the next two years. Around a quarter of those surveyed are planning to introduce them by 2018.
