First Catena-X-certified solution
The Oncite Digital Production System from German Edge Cloud has now become the first solution to be certified by Catena-X. The production management system thus provides companies in the automotive industry's manufacturing environment with very easy access to the ecosystem.

The main questions are: How can processes be optimized efficiently and securely and costs reduced while at the same time exchanging data across the board, for example for the traceability of parts? How can regulatory requirements, such as data protection regulations, be complied with while keeping products and services competitive?
Catena-X addresses precisely these challenges. It creates a standardized data infrastructure and facilitates the networking of players in the value chain. Catena-X also opens up the opportunity to develop innovations and new business models. At Hannover Messe 2023, the network demonstrated data exchange for the first time with representatives from well-known corporations and SMEs in the automotive industry. At the same time, the certification process was opened for service and app providers who want to make their solutions available. To do so, they must meet the Catena-X standards. Certification attests, for example, that a software component is interoperable, compliant with data protection regulations and secure for use in the Catena-X ecosystem. Only certified solutions are granted access. The Oncite Digital Production System from German Edge Cloud is now the first solution to be certified by Catena-X.
High production transparency
The Oncite DPS supports the fast, secure networking of production, modern data management and high production transparency. The production management system combines previously separate core components of digital production into one system with a flexible, microservices-based architecture: agile production management with MES and MOM functions, industrial IoT as a database and low-code development for simple application development. Added to this is edge computing for superior data processing.
