Programming via web browser
Until now, programming a PLC required a PC application that had to be installed for the respective product.
SpiderPLC from Ininet Solutions, on the other hand, only requires an HTML5-capable browser and a controller equipped with the "SpiderPLC" for programming. This consists of a PLC runtime, a web server and an integrated web application that enables the function block diagram programming of the PLC and associated HMI pages. All the software required for programming and operating simple PLC projects, including visualization, is stored on the embedded controller. This means that only a tablet, smartphone or PC with a standard web browser is required for programming. "SpiderPLC" allows the PLC to be programmed in the 'function block diagram' programming language. In addition to function block diagram programming, there is also an HMI editor that enables the design of simple HTML5-compatible visualizations. In addition to use on simple low-cost controllers, the solution is suitable for integration into existing electronic devices that are to be expanded with a simple programming option in addition to the existing functionality. This includes, for example, systems such as data loggers, measuring devices, controllers, intelligent sensors, drives or gateways.
