Intuitive operation
As a further development of the 'A+' printer, Cab Produkttechnik is launching the 'Squix' industrial label printer onto the market. Its clock frequency is three times higher than that of the 'A+' printer series.
The 'Squix' printer has 256 Mbytes of RAM and 50 Mbytes of internal IFFS data memory. Print speeds of up to 300 mm/s are possible with print widths of up to 108.4 mm. Cab has adapted the performance of the power supply unit accordingly. The printer has a 4.2-inch LCD color display with resistive touchscreen. The user interface is adapted to the smartphone with direct access to individual menu items. Video tutorials support the user in operating the device. WLAN is integrated into the printer as standard. According to the manufacturer, changing the print head has been made more user-friendly: 200, 300 and 600 dpi can be exchanged on any device, no device adjustment is required. The print head can be adjusted during test operation to ensure a precise typeface. If servicing is required, the date of commissioning, mileage and maximum temperature can be read directly from the print head. The stable chassis housing, data interfaces and firmware have been adopted from the 'A+' series. The peripheral interface makes it possible to equip the 'Squix' with the complete 'A+' peripherals such as cutters, applicators and external rewinders.
