The nominated product 'EasyB' from Block Transformatoren-Elektronik in Verden is a single-channel circuit breaker system that can protect control voltages up to a total current of 80 A as required. The channels address themselves automatically when they are switched on. This eliminates an additional work step for manual address assignment. All function modules and electrical connection points are located in a basic housing. The system is parameterized via the master computer and changes can be made at any time. EasyB reacts to 5% overcurrent and limits the output current to this level. The combination of extremely narrow width, very high current carrying capacity, automatic addressing and additional switch-on function convinced the jury.
