The 2016 edition of the Hannover Messe ended on April 29 with a significant increase in visitor numbers compared to 2014. The organizer is particularly proud of the many concrete application examples for Industry 4.0.

Visitors to Hannover Messe 2016 did not have an easy time getting to the world's largest industrial trade fair: Deutsche Bahn first announced construction work on the Kassel-Hannover line, and local public transport also came to a standstill due to strikes. However, this does not seem to have put a damper on the Hannover Messe: The exhibition halls were packed.
