With their contributions to the invention of the 'Synchronous Technology' software,
Howard Mattson (50) and
Douglas King (40), who work at the Siemens Digital Factory Division in Cambrigde, UK, have helped to drastically simplify work on digital models with programs from Siemens PLM. Engineers can change their models up to 100 times faster thanks to these inventions: The designer simply selects the element they are concerned about and changes the values in the desired direction. The system then automatically adjusts all other affected parameters of the model accordingly.
