Delta is launching a Codesys-based Motion Control Solution and a PLC-based Extended Motion Controller DXMC series. The former solution complies with IEC62231-3 standards to enable user-friendly integration of PLC, HMI and motion controller in a single platform. It supports the Ethercat protocol for simultaneous control of field devices. The second solution enables synchronous, multi-axis motion control with an optional Codesys SoftPLC in standard or panel version (7 inch/10 inch). In addition to processing 64 axes, as was possible with the PC-based predecessor series Motion Controller 'AX864E' (formerly known as the 'MH2' series), the PLC-based and extended Motion Controller DXMC series can also control up to 32 axes (standard type) or eight axes (panel type).
