With the new free feature pack V2.4.9 for the PLC7100-based CPUs Micro and Slio, Vipa Controls is making new features available by means of a firmware update. The new firmware update makes all Micro and Slio CPUs Profinet-capable and should therefore be able to be easily integrated into existing Profinet networks. In addition, almost all Micro and Slio CPUs have been equipped with an integrated web server, which enables modern visualization via mobile devices such as smartphones. According to the manufacturer, these CPUs therefore offer a wide range of new applications. The firmware update required for the respective CPU is available for download as firmware V2.4.9 on the Vipa homepage. The update is available immediately.
