Siemens has announced its figures for the second quarter of 2017: the company has grown in terms of both sales and order intake. The order backlog has reached a new high.

The Power and Gas Division suffered a very sharp drop in the volume of major orders compared to the same quarter of the previous year. According to Siemens, the growth in revenue was driven by good and rapid processing of the order backlog, including major orders in Egypt and Argentina in particular.
