Hima presents complete solutions comprising hardware, software and services. The safety applications include all necessary components and services for the control, regulation and monitoring of turbomachinery and compressors (Flexsilon TMC), burners and boilers (Flexsilon BCS) as well as gas and liquid pipelines (Flexsilon PMC). The 'Flexsilon' solutions are based on the 'Himax' safety system, which can be used to automate turbines, burners, boilers and pipelines. This includes not only protective functions, but also the control and regulation of applications. The core components of "Flexsilon TMC (Turbomachinery Control) are the 'Himax' system and the 'Silworx' configuration, programming and diagnostics tool. The complete solution includes standardized and certified turbine and compressor function modules that can be flexibly adapted. This is supplemented by solutions for visualization, on-site operation and sequence-of-event recording. The solution also offers integrated redundant overspeed protection for SIL3. The sister application 'Flexsilon BCS' (Burner Control System) is a solution for the automation of burners and boilers that meets all safety requirements in accordance with international combustion engineering norms and standards. The core components are the safety systems 'Himax', 'Hiquad', 'Planar 4' or 'Himatrix', the configuration, programming and diagnostic tools 'Elop II' and 'Silworx'. Finally, 'Flexsilon PMC' (Pipeline Management Control) covers the spectrum for the automation of pipelines: control systems with SIL3-capable and highly available leak detection and leak location systems as well as complex pipeline management. The pipeline software 'Floworx' is part of the solution.
