With the 'Multi-Shielding Clamp MSKL' series, Icotek is launching a generation of EMC shielding clamps onto the market which, according to the supplier, can make contact with almost 90 % of the shielded cables on the market with just two shielding clamp sizes. The shield clamp has large clamping areas and large-surface contacting of the cable shield with a narrow and low design. The MSKL 3-12 has a clamping range of 3 to 12 mm and the MSKL 8-18 has a clamping range of 8 to 18 mm. The shield clamps can be ordered loose or with different mounting brackets for direct screw mounting or for snapping onto a 35 mm top-hat rail. An integrated strain relief is available to further protect the system. The strain relief is provided via the outer cable sheath and not via the sensitive cable shield.
