With a software release for IGW/935 and IGW/936, SSV now offers two predictive maintenance gateways for data-based condition monitoring in machines and systems. For data access, an IGW/93x is connected directly to the existing controllers. Additional sensors can also be integrated into a machine or system via the IO extension IO/5640. In addition to the fusion of control and sensor data, the IGW/93x software offers various analysis functions to evaluate a system status on site in real time. Cloud software components for further data analysis and dashboards with machine and system overviews including notification functions are available as accessories. A gateway can be operated at any position within an Operation Technology Domain (OT Domain). Flexible integration options into the IT world are available via OPC UA client and server as well as pre-installed cloud drivers. The IGW/93x firewall and VPN functions allow OT and IT to be completely separated from a security perspective in order to implement IEC 62443 security concepts. The functions of a predictive maintenance gateway can be adapted to the respective requirements via an app-based expansion concept. Special app software components can be installed at any time via a web-based configuration interface. Additional protocols, sensor, PLC and cloud interfaces as well as additional mathematical and analytical functions are available as apps.
