ZVEI / German electrical exports100 billion euro mark cracked
Upswing for German electrical exports: in June 2018, they rose by 3.8% year-on-year to €17.5 billion. According to the ZVEI, the electrical industry exported goods worth 102 billion euros in the first half of 2018, which is 4.3% above the previous year's level.

Market segments in 2017:
Automation landed in third place among the world's largest market segments last year with 522 billion euros. The association expects growth of 5% this year and 4% in the coming year.
