From February 27 to March 1, 2018, the Nuremberg exhibition halls made room for everything to do with embedded systems technology. Computer&AUTOMATION presents a selection of new products that were on show at the stands of the 16th embedded world.
In the new BT-790X Embedded Box PC series, Bressner offers the BT-7900, BT-7901, BT-7902 and BT-7903 models. The devices have been designed for harsh industrial use and are expandable. The industrial computers are equipped with either 6th generation Intel Xeon E3 processors or 6th or 7th generation Intel Core i processors. The focus is on high performance with minimal power consumption. The system does not require a fan, but can also be used for extremely computing-intensive applications by installing a Smart Fan, for example as a high-performance server in server rooms. The models in the PC series are particularly robust, impact and vibration-resistant and meet the highest standards of reliability and security. According to the manufacturer, the devices are suitable for computing-intensive applications such as industrial automation, logistics or image processing.
