From February 27 to March 1, 2018, the Nuremberg exhibition halls made room for everything to do with embedded systems technology. Computer&AUTOMATION presents a selection of new products that were on show at the stands of the 16th embedded world.
The PICE3800 series from Plug-In is an IoT edge server solution equipped with 6th generation Intel multi-core processors. According to the manufacturer, the new series is predestined for supervising sensors that continuously store large amounts of data for motion control as well as for running CAD/CAM applications while displaying graphics and animations to monitor processes related to production equipment. Intel HD Graphics Engine enables the fanless computers to perform 2D and 3D visuals to meet different speed and precision requirements. Equipped with up to four USB 3.0 ports and three GbE LAN ports, the devices can be quickly and easily connected to high-speed cameras. The series is specifically designed for use in industrial environments and meets the requirements of EN61000-6-2 and EN61000-6-4 standards for heavy industrial EMC in dusty or oily environments.
