The new browser-based Spidercontrol web HMI editor from Ininet Solutions is now available as standard on the Revolution Pi platform and connected to the Logi.cals soft PLC. Revolution Pi is a new automation hardware based on the Raspberry reference design. Users can now develop a web HMI directly using a standard browser and display variables from the IEC61131 code of the soft PLC. According to the manufacturer, this eliminates the need for costly external PC software for designing user interfaces and also eliminates other sources of error. All HMIs can be created, expanded or customized to the respective application directly in the field via tablet or smartphone. The web HMI and the PC-based Spidercontrol editor have been developed so that each user can create their own individual product. Among other things, the appearance, functions and HMI objects can be customized as desired and easily by a maker.
