Embedded systemsNew products at embedded world 2017
In mid-March, the Nuremberg exhibition halls made room for everything to do with embedded systems technology. Computer&AUTOMATION presents a selection of new products that were on show at the embedded world 2017 stands.

Adlink announces the availability of new entry-level PXI and PXIe platforms. The PXIe chassis PXES-2301 offers 6 fully hybrid peripheral slots for a data throughput of up to 8 GByte/s. According to the manufacturer, the system has optimum heat dissipation and maximum PXI platform stability. Adlink's Chassiswatch monitoring and control software provides information on important chassis statuses such as fan speed, system voltages and internal temperature. The system is compatible with CompactPCI, PXI, CompactPCI Express and PXI Express modules in every peripheral slot. The half-rack-width design allows two PXES-2301 plug-in units to be accommodated in a single rack system. Another new feature is the PXIS-3935/PXI-3930 embedded controllers, which are based on Intel Celeron 2000E processors with 2.2 GHz and offer a maximum system throughput of 8 GByte/s and 132 MByte/s respectively. The controllers are equipped with two display ports that enable simultaneous connection to two 4K UHD monitors with different content. Two USB 3.0 ports provide access to fast peripherals, two GbE ports are primarily used to connect to LXI instruments and the integrated GPIB connection enables hybrid, PXI-based test system control.
