In mid-March, the Nuremberg exhibition halls made room for everything to do with embedded systems technology. Computer&AUTOMATION presents a selection of new products that were on show at the embedded world 2017 stands.
The new COM Express mini module TQMxE39M from embedded specialist TQ is available with the latest generation of Intel Atom, Pentium and Celeron processors (codenamed "Apollo Lake"). According to the manufacturer, eight USB ports - including two USB 3.0 ports - and up to four PCIe lanes, which are provided directly by the CPU, offer a high bandwidth for extensions and additional functions on the carrier board. Equipped with a new Intel graphics processor core, 4K screen resolution, 3D video processing and increased video encoding/decoding performance are provided.
