In mid-March, the Nuremberg exhibition halls made room for everything to do with embedded systems technology. Computer&AUTOMATION presents a selection of new products that were on show at the embedded world 2017 stands.

With the Scalexio Fieldbus Solution from dSpace, "Scalexio" hardware-in-the-loop systems can be connected to fieldbus variants such as Profibus and Ethercat. The solution is based on a PCIe card plugged into the "Scalexio" computing unit and, according to the provider, offers the optimum bandwidth for real-time models. The company has developed special device drivers for real-time simulation. The configuration process is based on "ConfigurationDesk", whereby the fieldbuses are configured in "Sycon.net" from Hilscher.
