Extensions thanks to Risercard
Extra Computer extends the functionality of the Calmo S for industrial use: The fanless housing design of the industrial PC with an IP50 protection rating is designed to allow continuous operation in harsh, emission-laden environments.
The computer can be equipped with either the Fujitsu D3243-S mainboards based on Intel or the AMD D3313-S board from the same manufacturer. The industrial PC is available in six different versions, which are interchangeable thanks to their identical design. Depending on the board configuration, PCI, PCIe x16 or PCIe x4 cards can be operated. Some industrial applications with connections to a control system require an additional control card, while other scenarios require RS485 or parallel interfaces: Such extensions can now be offered with a Risercard. The industrial PC can be used in an extended temperature range between -5° C and +55° C with the D3313 or -5° and +45° C with the D3243 and offers different variants with front or rear interfaces. The manufacturer guarantees long-term availability of five years. Out-of-band management, the watchdog function and Wake-on-LAN are designed to ensure smooth operation.
