Both conferences will take place together with the trade fair from June 21 to 23, 2022. The calls for papers were very well received at both the embedded world Conference and the electronic displays Conference. This also reflected the speakers' great interest in being able to exchange ideas live on site again, with an audience present, discussions during breaks, stand visits and informal networking opportunities. In this respect, WEKA as the conference organizer immediately supported NürnbergMesse's idea of moving embedded world.

The program of the embedded world Conference picks up on the technical development trends in hardware and software, tools and platforms. These developments are also reflected in the motto "intelligent.connected.embedded".

"Embedded systems are a cross-sectional technology that encompasses many aspects. The range of topics at the embedded world Conference is correspondingly broad: Internet-of-Things, connectivity, hardware, software and systems engineering, safety and security, system-on-chip design, embedded vision, human-machine interaction and autonomous systems," explains Prof. Axel Sikora, Offenburg University of Applied Sciences and Chairman of the embedded world Conference. "In addition, new and current topics will also be addressed in special sessions. These include, in particular, RISC-V, high-performance embedded architectures and open source solutions."

From the numerous submissions, the program committee has once again put together an interesting program with almost 200 presentations. There will also be 11 half-day or full-day classes and keynotes.

The keynote speech on the first day of the conference will be given by Steve Douglass, CEO of Lattice Semiconductor. His topic: "Embracing Change: The Mandate for Success in the Next Generation of Embedded Design." Steve Douglass has already confirmed the new date in June.

Another keynote speech will be given by Dr. Matthias Klauda, Robert Bosch, on the topic of "Brains and Nerves of Future Mobility - E/E Architectures of the Vehicle and Beyond." Using the example of future vehicles, Dr. Klauda will outline the enormous increase in complexity and the associated trends towards cross-domain or even domain-independent vehicle computers. They require new ways of system design, system validation and methods of cooperation between the disciplines in the automotive industry.

electronic displays Conference

The program of the electronic Displays Conference includes 65 presentations that promise a wide-ranging and highly informative event. The highlights are the nine keynotes, which cover the relevant topics of the future. International experts will be speaking on the topics of display markets, automotive interfaces from BMW and AR/VR from Osram, micro LEDs and 3D displays from Bosch. The presentations are divided into sessions on automotive topics, touch and optical bonding, gesture control, display measurement technology and electronics as well as GUI/HMI and system aspects. Between the sessions, the speakers will be available to answer questions during the tried-and-tested "Author Interviews", and coffee and lunch breaks can be used for intensive networking and an exchange of opinions.

Due to the postponement of the date, there may still be changes to the program if individual speakers are unable to attend the new date.
