The Indracontrol VPB40.4 industrial PCs from Bosch Rexroth are based on the system architecture of the previous generation and are equipped with new Intel processors.

Together with the significantly enhanced graphics performance, according to the manufacturer, the computers are designed to support even the most demanding visualization requirements. These PCs can be combined with the operating displays from the Indracontrol VDP series to visualize and operate the system. The equipment includes two Gbit LAN network connections, seven USB interfaces as well as a connection for the operating display and another for monitors with a display port interface. Two or four slots for PCI and PCIe plug-in cards are available for hardware expansions. In terms of mass storage, users can choose between conventional hard disks and wear-free solid-state storage. The manufacturer delivers the computers with the Windows 7 or Windows 10 operating system. The pre-installed software includes language extensions, embedded and security features as well as software tools for device maintenance and diagnostics.
