Securing industrial applications
The EDR-G9010 series from Moxa comprises complete solutions certified for industrial use comprising firewall/NAT/VPN/switch/router as a first 'line of defense' for industrial networks.
The secure industrial routers in Moxa 's series offer GbE performance with 10 ports and defense-in-depth security functions. The network security solution is specially tailored to OT environments. The industrial routers are equipped with DPI technology, which enables granular monitoring of data traffic in the network. The scope of the DPI protocol is being continuously expanded; starting with Modbus TCP/UDP and DNP3, other protocols specifically designed for the energy market will follow.
If remote connections are required across several locations, the integrated IPsec VPN ensures secure communication channels in the industrial network. The 'EDR-G9010' platform can run an intrusion prevention module that securely blocks ransomware, malware, viruses and other internet security threats in OT networks.
