This makes it particularly suitable for the firmware development of sensors and field devices, but also for use in control or I/O systems with limited resources. Users benefit from the use of ready-made and tested toolkit functions and can thus shorten the time-to-market of their development projects. The toolkit supports the "Nano Embedded Device Server Profile" of the OPC Foundation as well as security features and publisher functionality according to UA specification v1.04 (release candidate). The development of server functionality for client/server communication is also supported.
