IBM opened the Watson IoT Center in Munich on February 16, 2017. Computer&AUTOMATION was able to take a look inside the Industry Lab, where IBM is working with partner companies on a wide range of Watson projects.

Of course, the 'connected car' should not be without a cognitive personal assistant. An assistant like this is needed for autonomous driving, for example: It can talk to passengers during the journey and respond to requests such as: "I want to get out in the city center."
