IBM opened the Watson IoT Center in Munich on February 16, 2017. Computer&AUTOMATION was able to take a look inside the Industry Lab, where IBM is working with partner companies on a wide range of Watson projects.

The 'Jochen's Home' project has its origins in a hobbyhorse. Jochen, an IBM employee, has already networked over 350 sensors and actuators in his own home. The project now aims to explore what is possible in a smart home.
