IBM opened the Watson IoT Center in Munich on February 16, 2017. Computer&AUTOMATION was able to take a look inside the Industry Lab, where IBM is working with partner companies on a wide range of Watson projects.

In the 'Cognitive Life' area, the plant box is particularly striking. The joint project with Libelium aims to generate a farming database from soil, weather and satellite data that can be used for real-time risk management and to determine the general "state of health" of the farm.
