However, the extent to which Soley and Russwurm are right with their statements will only become clear when it comes to deciding on the architecture standards. The first touchstone: Which communication standard will prevail in the industrial environment? The DDS favored by the IIC or the OPC UA standard favored by the Industry 4.0 platform?
