Cable and connector distributor PEI-Genesis has supplied OMP Engineering with over 1,000 miniature circular connectors for the assembly of 50 insulating beams in Italy - essential equipment for Italy's fight against COVID-19. PEI-Genesis delivered the components just a few days after the order was placed, allowing OMP Engineering to start production in the coming weeks.
The isolation stretchers are used to transport patients who have tested positive for coronavirus. The stretchers are equipped with highly efficient filters that create a protective atmosphere in which medical staff can safely administer medication and monitor the patient's condition.
PEI-Genesis has supplied ITT Cannon Military miniature circular connectors to OMP Engineering that meet MIL-26482 Series I and VG95328 specifications. These connectors play an important role in the effective sealing of the insulation trays and ensure a filtered atmosphere free of infectious substances.
