Call for Papers
embedded world Conference 2017
If you want to submit an entry for the embedded world Conference 2017 (March 14 to 16, 2017), you should hurry: The deadline is September 7. This year's conference motto is "Securely Connecting the Embedded World".
The embedded world Conference is the world's leading meeting place for the embedded community. In its 15th edition in 2017, it will focus on "Securely Connecting the Embedded World".
The Embedded World: Due to the increasing complexity of overall systems, this includes the inevitable paradigm shift towards a comprehensive understanding of systems and an end-to-end development process for all domains.
Connecting: The many new communication technologies allow the expansion to completely new types of local, regional and global networks and are a key driver for the Internet of Things and the embedded cloud.
Securely: The opportunities for attacks and risks increase significantly, especially with increasing networking. Protective measures and security architectures for resource-limited embedded systems are becoming increasingly important.
In the complex development process from the sensor to the cloud, the following key topics have emerged:
- Internet of Things
- connectivity
- software engineering
- systems engineering
- Hardware engineering
- Embedded OS
- Management Focus
- Safety & Security
By dividing the content into precisely these areas, the conference supports embedded system developers in successfully mastering their future challenges.
In addition to these subject areas, two dedicated workshops on the topics of "MILS" and "HiPEAC" are planned for the embedded world Conference 2017. Interested parties can also submit their abstracts for these in their own topic categories.
Anyone who wants to take the opportunity to give a presentation at the largest European conference on embedded systems should hurry now: Interested parties can only submit their abstracts in English via the online form until September 7, 2016. Detailed information can be found on the conference homepage.
