Dieter Meuser buys German Edge Cloud
As part of a management buy-out, theFriedhelm Loh Group has sold German Edge Cloud in its entirety to Managing Director Dieter Meuser.
After German Edge Cloud sold the "Cloud & Edge" division to the German subsidiary of the Italian listed company WIIT at the beginning of the year, the remaining "Digital Industrial Solutions" business unit has also found a new owner: As part of a management buy-out, the business unit was taken over and continued by its Managing Director Dieter Meuser. To this end, the Friedhelm Loh Group indirectly sold 100% of its shares to German Edge Cloud on November 1, 2024.
As the founder of MES provider iTAC Software and IIoT pioneer IoTOS, Meuser brings extensive experience in the areas of Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT and digitalization. Under his leadership, German Edge Cloud will continue to support its customers in their digital transformation.
With its ONCITE Digital Production System (DPS), German Edge Cloud offers a software solution with standardized applications and microservice-based architecture for easy integration of new functionalities. The solution is used in the Smart Press Shop, a joint venture between Schuler and Porsche, among others.
