Brangl Electronics has released the latest firmware for "Web@SPS", a web-based and freely programmable control system, under the name Epoch 4.0. The graphic styling of the universal HTML visualization was created in responsive design to ensure optimal display on different environments such as desktop, tablet or mobile phone. The visualization can be adapted to your own wishes and ideas. The user program of the "Web@PLC" is created with any text editor, eliminating the need to purchase and maintain programming software. The firmware communicates with SQL databases. This means that "Web@PLC" can save the process data in an external SQL database, which can be used for data exchange with other "Web@PLCs" or for logging. The controller can also read data records from an SQL database, for example to implement recipes for programming in the controller. SQL communication opens up possibilities for system-open and complex infrastructures, both in the internal network and on the Internet.
