CamCollect 61 from Aprotech is a box PC model that is particularly suitable for image processing applications. By combining it with an optional graphics card from nVidia - there is a choice between the 'GeForce GTX 950' and 'GeForce GTX 1050' models - image processing can be carried out on the graphics card. This GPU processing makes it possible to outsource image processing algorithms from the CPU to the graphics card and thus make optimum use of the combined computing power of the CPU and GPU. The Box PC also offers a wide selection of components: For the CPU, for example, the latest Intel Skylake generation is available in the form of the Intel Core i7-6700 and i5-6500 processors. The choice of RAM ranges from 4 to a maximum of 32 GB DDR4, while Windows 10 IoT, Windows 7 Pro, Windows Embedded Standard 7, Windows 8.1 Pro, Windows 10 and Linux are available for the operating system. There are six integrated GigE ports - four of which have PoE - four USB 2.0 and four USB 3.0 ports, as well as an additional internal USB 2.0 port that can be used for a dongle, for example. There are also two ports for RS232/422/485, a further RS232 connection and other interfaces. There are also options for a 10 GigE network card as well as for CoaxPress and CameraLink. Two 2.5-inch SATA interfaces and an mSATA interface are available for connecting hard disks.
