The latest model of the "Delta DMV" image processing system from Delta Electronics, the DMV 2000, has an intelligent and user-friendly operator interface that allows the user to interact easily. The independent system, in which up to eight high-speed cameras with up to 12 MByte can be integrated, supports various input and output interfaces, common industrial networks such as Ethernet, RS232 and RS485 and numerous image processing functions. The manufacturer offers a wide range of accessories such as special light sources and lenses, which can be easily set up thanks to additional functions such as auto-calibration and lens distortion correction. All inspection processes can be quickly defined using integrated, multifunctional development tools. With the "DMV" series, 50 fps can be recorded at a resolution of 12 Mbyte (4096 x 3072 pixels) or 295 fps at a resolution of 2 Mbyte (2048 x 1088 pixels). Automatic blob analysis reduces the network load. A CameraLink interface is implemented. Parallel processes can be monitored asynchronously via the multitasking control.
