Belden has launched a solution for the configuration and deployment of TSN in Industrial Ethernet networks. The Hirschmann solution combines the TSN firmware versions of the Industrial Ethernet switches of the 'RSPE' and 'Octopus II' families with the network management software 'Industrial HiVision 8.0', which supports TSN configuration and monitoring functions. Industrial HiVision's MultiConfig tool enables TSN configuration without having to log in to each device and set parameters such as time synchronization and the TSN schedule individually. Up to 16 devices can be configured and monitored free of charge.
