The electric gripping module WSG 25-CR from Weiss Robotics has a stroke of 64 mm and a calibrated gripping force range of 5 to 25 N. With its rounded edges and force-limited gripping kinematics, the module meets the current safety requirements for human-robot cooperation. The integrated gripping control enables the handling of different gripping parts. The user does not have to develop their own gripping cycles, but can directly access predefined functions for gripped part detection and grip monitoring. The integrated Ethernet interface simplifies integration into industrial networks. For fast commissioning, the gripping module has a web-based configuration interface with integrated documentation and diagnostics that can be operated via a web browser. Communication takes place either via the text-based 'GCL' language or via the standardized Modbus/TCP protocol.
